2013 Lexus ES 300h offers the driver of the four modes: Normal, Sport, Eco and EV. EV mode allows the drive short distances, the speed is reduced, using only the power from the hybrid battery. Normal mode provides a combination of performance and efficiency that is suitable for everyday driving, while the Eco mode favors fuel economy. Sport mode increases the response powertrain.

The new ES wheelbase has been extended by 1.8 inches, while the overall length of the vehicle has grown by just an inch, so the interior is more spacious.
The new Lexus ES 300h will feature upgraded seating surfaces NuLuxe, developed to reduce environmental impact. Genuine leather is also available, such as semi-aniline leather for a more refined look and feel. The interior is available in Black, Light Gray, and parchment. Trim colors and materials including Piano Black, Espresso Bird's-eye Maple, and Bamboo.
A new chair sculptures enhance driver comfort. Steering wheel angle has been reduced from 24 degrees to 22 degrees for a more natural position control. Fluid-filled engine mounts, new materials absorb sound and tuned engine intake to minimize external noise intrusion.
Large rear seat legroom and knee space are characteristic of the cabin, more spacious redesigned. Knee space increased by 2.8 inches and legroom increased by 4.1 inches. The new design also offers additional leg room under the front seats.
